Founded in 1966 to produce winding products, Volt Motor began manufacturing single-phase electric motors in 1987, followed by three-phase electric motors, establishing its position in the electric motor production industry.

Between 2011 and 2024, Volt Motor operated as a subsidiary of Saya Holding. Through significant technology investments and R&D efforts, the company expanded its product range from 56-frame types to 355-frame types, reaching up to 450 kW power output, supported by a production area of 45,000 m² and nearly 800 employees.

As of December 2024, Volt Electric Motors joined WEG, one of the world’s largest electric motor manufacturers, becoming one of Türkiye’s leading electric motor producers.

Since its establishment, Volt Motor has achieved notable success in the electric motor manufacturing sector. By integrating innovative projects into its business processes, the company continues to differentiate itself within the industry.

Volt Motor sees its societal responsibilities as an essential part of its business duties and continues to undertake impactful initiatives that contribute to society.

Leading in R&D efforts to reduce electricity consumption and improve energy efficiency, Volt Motor introduced IE3 premium energy-efficient electric motors to the market. The company also manufactures Super Premium energy-efficient IE4 and IE5 motors with its own R&D and patents. Since 2021, Volt Motor has been operating as an R&D Center, strengthening its international partnerships.
